Volkswagen Jetta Review
The Volkswagen Jetta is a small, compact family car that Volkswagen has made and sold since 1979. It has been sold over seven generations as the Atlantic, City Jetta, Bora, Vento, GLI, Sagitar (China), and Clasico. VW Jetta was made to fill a sedan niche above the company’s Golf hatchback.
The latest version of the Jetta, which comes out in 2022, has controls that are easy to use and a spacious cabin. It has a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
In the test, the overall fuel economy was excellent at 34 mpg. The ride is smooth but a bit too soft in a sharp bump. Handling is good but not very exciting. For a small sedan, the cabin is quiet.
Faux leather seats and automated climate control are standard on most models, giving the vehicle a high-end feel. Active safety features like AEB, FCW, and BSW come as standard. There is also a sportier GLI version, which shares parts with the Volkswagen GTI from the previous generation.
