About Honda CR-V
The Honda CR V is a small crossover SUV made by the Japanese company Honda since 1995. The Honda CRV was first sold in North America in 1997. It has an SUV body that is built on the Civic platform. Honda says that CR V stands for “Comfortable Runabout Vehicle.” Still, a British car review article that Honda republished uses the term “Compact Recreational Vehicle.”
The Honda CR-V is a fantastic little SUV from Honda. This car is good at almost everything. It’s spacious, versatile, easy to operate, entertaining to drive, and packed with features. All of this is offered at a reasonable price for the class.
This newest Honda CR-V came out for the 2017 model year, making it one of the oldest small SUVs on the market. Despite this, the CR-V remains a top pick because Honda has created an enticing total package. With the CR-V, Honda pretty much has you covered when it comes to space, comfort, driver enjoyment, and value.
Honda started making the CR V in Sayama, Japan, and Swindon, United Kingdom, for markets around the world. In 2007, Honda started making the CR V in East Liberty, Ohio, United States, for North American markets. El Salto, Jalisco, Mexico, in late 2007 (ended in early 2017). In 2012, it was in Alliston, Ontario, Canada, and in February 2017, it was in Greensburg, Indiana, United States. The Dongfeng Honda Automobile Company, a joint venture with Dongfeng Motor Corporation, also makes the CR V in Wuhan for the Chinese market. The version made by Guangqi Honda is sold in China as the Honda Breeze.
The Touring trim now comes standard with all-wheel drive, which is the only modification to the 2022 Honda CR-V. All in all, that’s not a bad thing at all. Some other small SUVs are just as appealing as the CR-V. For example, the redesigned Nissan Rogue and Hyundai Tucson are both great deals. The Mazda CX-5 stands out with its stylish looks and good performance.
